Berkane sits in the eastern corner of Morocco, on the plain that runs from the Beni-Snassen mountains to the sea. Its orange — the Berkane clementine — is thinner-skinned and sweeter than the southern varieties, and the surrounding plain is one continuous citrus grove from January through March.
